On Saturday, we attended David Bleckman's Annapolis Photography Meetup Group's meetup at Blackwater National Wildlife Refuge. This is one of my favorite refuges. This was also the first real chance I had to try out my new Nikon D500 shooting birds. There were plenty of blue herons, eagles, ducks, terns, and geese. None of the eagles got close enough to get a good shot. The terns were a lot of fun to try and shoot. She were moving fast and erratically while fishing.
